Vancouver was acquired during Nash sales in Saint Lô in 2012, he was 3 years old and had an exceptional jump. He did a few courses as a 4 years old under the saddle of Sylvain Montigny.
As a 5-year-old he jumped in Switzerland in the young horses classes with rider Joëlle Brahier. 
It was then after that the rider Romain Duguet rode him from the age of 6-8 years old in Europe in the Youngster and international classes where Vancouver Lanlore got his first 1.60m class.
