Dam:Highland Royale is a broodmare registered with the Irish Horse Board. She is by Cavalier Royale a Holsteiner stallion that had a huge impact on Irish Sport Horse breeding for the decade he stood in Ireland. He produced some top horses for example: Amos, Charlton, Captain Christy, Gandini Stardust, King Cavalier, Royal Charmer etc.etc. Cavalier Royale himself had a very successful career jumping for Switzerland. His progeny have topped sales prices for years and have dominated all the major competitions in Ireland. Cavalier’s Sire, Cor De La Bryere is a legend in his own right, ranked 23rd in the W.B.F.S.H for 2002/2003. He is responsible for five out of six of the top horses in the Holsteiner studbook, which was the leading studbook between 2002/2003.
Highland Royale’s dam is by Clover Hill who needs no introduction to breeders and competitors throughout the world. One of history’s greatest sires, Clover Hill has many international showjumpers competing incl. Boherdeal Clover, Carling King, Clover Leaf, Double O Seven and Dream Point Seven.
Highland Royale has a half brother by Touchdown that is going from strength to strength. He just one the 5 year old showjumping class at Punchestown and is almost Grade C.
