Letter from breeder re (VDL) Orestus!

Orestus is without doubt an exceptional stallion and one that is supremely suitable
for Irish mares.  Possessing a large percentage of Thoroughbred and with height,
conformation and an elastic athleticism Orestus is my stallion of choice.  Orestus is
one of those rare stallions whose genes supercede those of the mare, stamping his
stock with all the qualities needed for his progeny to reach the top in either showjumping
or eventing.
My mare is a Warmblood xTB and like most Irish mares is on the strong side.  Her 2011 filly foal
is everything I have been looking for in a foal, possessing presence and beauty coupled
with an amazing athleticism, learning to jump out of her paddock at a very early age
showed that she has inherited her sires’s love of jumping.  I sold my foal for a very
good price which would put her in the top ten percent of foals sold this year.
She has gone to be produced as a showjumper and I wish her new owner all the luck
in the world.
If you have any doubts about where to go for your stallion in 2012 then go to Orestus,
I for one can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
